St. Laurence High School is a Catholic, coed high school located in Burbank, Illinois, a southwest suburb minutes outside of Chicago. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred) Valid Professional Educator License Content area endorsement or its equivalent Teaching experience preferred Competencies: Commitment to the success of all students and to working with a diverse student population Background suitable for teaching a range of content area courses Understanding of educational theory and practice Ability to use technology in instruction and for student learning Excellent written and oral communication skills Commitment to collaboration, curriculum development, and creating innovative lesson and unit plans Interest in coaching OR moderating student clubs/activities
