We combine deep platform expertise with the rigor of an enterprise consulting practice to design solutions that eliminate fragmentation, strengthen operational workflows, and support long-term digital transformation across enterprise, state, and federal organizations.Role OverviewTAS is seeking a Business Analyst to lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and traceability for a high-visibility CRM and case-management modernization initiative supporting a Texas state agency.This role is focused exclusively on business analysis, requirements definition, documentation, and traceability in support of a configuration-first CRM implementation. The Business Analyst serves as the authoritative owner of business requirements, ensuring stakeholder needs are clearly captured, documented, traceable, and validated throughout the delivery lifecycle.The Business Analyst works in tight, daily coordination with the Functional Consultant to ensure documented requirements translate into configuration-first system behavior within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service. This role is critical to maintaining clarity, scope control, and acceptance readiness in a public-sector environment where documentation quality and traceability are paramount.This is a full-time, fully remote role, operating within an onshore delivery model.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary owner of business and functional requirements for CRM and case-management modernizationLead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to elicit business needs, policies, and operational workflowsDocument requirements using clear, structured artifacts, including business requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteriaWork in tight daily coordination with the Functional Consultant to ensure requirements are translated into configuration-first solutions and preserved through design and buildEstablish, maintain, and govern the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), ensuring every business requirement is traceable through configuration, testing, and final acceptanceDocument and manage requirements for Legacy Data Transitions, including mapping of historical case records, reporting needs, and records retention considerationsDocument and manage requirements for the Intake and Triage (A-Desk) workstream, including constituent request intake, classification, prioritization, and routingMaintain requirements traceability across design, development, testing, and UATUtilize Azure DevOps (ADO) as the mandated system of record for managing requirements, user stories, backlog items, RTM artifacts, and supporting documentationSupport backlog refinement, sprint planning, and review activities by clarifying requirements and acceptance criteriaValidate delivered functionality against documented requirements during system testing and UATEnsure all requirements and documentation comply with Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §213 and Section 508 accessibility standardsProduce and maintain high-quality documentation suitable for audit, governance, and formal acceptanceSupport controlled change management by assessing requirement impacts and updating traceability artifacts accordinglyRequired Skills & ExperienceU.S.-based candidate (onshore delivery requirement)4–7+ years total business analysis experience3+ years on CRM, case management, or public-sector systemsProven experience owning requirements traceability (RTM)Proven experience serving as a Business Analyst on enterprise CRM or case-management initiativesStrong experience eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements in Agile delivery environmentsDemonstrated experience establishing and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)Proficiency using Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage user stories, backlog items, acceptance criteria, and traceabilityExperience documenting Intake, case management, routing, and constituent service workflowsStrong ability to translate stakeholder input into clear, actionable, testable requirementsExperience collaborating closely with Functional Consultants to support configuration-led implementationsExcellent written, verbal, and facilitation skillsExceptional attention to detail and documentation qualityPreferred ExperienceExperience delivering solutions in state, federal, or public-sector environmentsFamiliarity with accessibility, compliance, audit, and records-governance requirementsExperience supporting large, highly visible CRM modernization initiativesPublic-sector experience is strongly desired, but not required.Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience)Benefits: Full health benefits, PTO, 401(k), and a fully remote work environmentHow to ApplyIf you are a disciplined Business Analyst who excels at producing clear, traceable requirements and thrives in high-accountability, public-sector delivery environments, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.Please submit your resume to begin the conversation.This is a remote position.
