Description Job Description We are looking for a Shift Manager to oversee all restaurant operations, including welcoming and serving customers. Shift Manager responsibilities include delegating tasks to restaurant staff, addressing diners' queries and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. If you have excellent organizational and team management skills and experience in the food industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us create a memorable dining experience for our guests and increase our profitability. Responsibilities Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and order food supplies, as needed Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off) Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges Ensure client satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift) Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks Report maintenance and training needs Skills Proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant role in a restaurant Good knowledge of restaurant operations (like managing reservations and payments) Availability to work different shifts, including weekends Basic knowledge of bookkeeping procedures A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism Excellent organizational skills Team management abilities BSc in Restaurant Management, Business Administration or similar field Certification from a culinary school is a plus we are seeking a friendly Restaurant Line Server who can deliver excellent customer service while memorizing our menu items. we are a quick serve style restaurant where customers build there bowls down the line like subway. The Restaurant Line Server will be responsible for taking food orders from customers, building the proper bowl the customer orders and helping the customer down the line. If you have previous experience as a Server in a popular restaurant and a dedication to providing excellent service to customers, we want to hear from you. Restaurant Line Server responsibilities Take customers' food and drink orders Upsell customers on specials Ensure that all orders are accurate and made for each customer in a timely manner Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience Confirm orders with any food allergies and restrictions Assist with keeping line, dinning, and kitchen areas clean Prep line items Check out customers and ensure the right change is given Restaurant Server skills High school diploma/GED required 2+ years' Server experience preferred Must be able to work on your feet up to 8 hours Strong customer service skills required Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus Ensure that items are restocked, and the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 to $21.00 /hour after tips Requirements Previous experience as a restaurant manager Extensive food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff Great leadership skills Familiarity with restaurant management software Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff
