Title: Infrastructure Engineer, with a specialty in Windows Location: Onsite in Austin, TX, 5 days a week It is Onsite in Austin, TX, 5 days a week, relos are welcome but first day is onsite, and onboaring clears within two weeks NEEDS: HEAVY SCRIPTING AUTOMATION WITH PYTHON AND POWERSHELL Windows Environment Windows admin Expectations: • Participate in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, test development, re-engineering and maintenance of scripts or software • Troubleshoot issues in a complex environment to develop sustaining fixes • Work in a global cross-functional team environment and communicate well • Take ownership of assigned tasks • Document processes and procedures • Show attention to detail Technical skills: Strong experience with Client Operating Systems (OS), OS imaging, OS deployment, and OS customization (Win10, Win 11, WinPE and Linux) Experience with imaging and deployment tools including SCCM, MDT and the Microsoft ADK tools a plus. Strong experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, JSON, Perl, Shell, & YAML) Strong familiarity scripting in Python preferred and some experience in python is required Solid working knowledge of computer hardware, BIOS and driver layers Client and Enterprise-level, cross-functional troubleshooting Experience in a technology manufacturing environment Previous Dell manufacturing environment experience a plus Education: Undergraduate degree and/or 8-10 years equivalent experience Technical certifications a plus (A+, Security+, OS Certifications, PCAP, Cloud, etc.)
