Senior Manager Experience Engineering

We are seeking an Experience Engineering Lead - React Native to drive the adoption and evolution of React Native within a large-scale mobile environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who thrives in complex, hybrid native/mobile ecosystems and enjoys mentoring teams while delivering high-performance, user-centric applications. You will play a key role in shaping the mobile architecture, collaborating across product, design, and engineering, and leading the integration of React Native into existing iOS and Android applications. Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid - onsite 3-4 days/week) Rate Range: $65-70/HR on W2 Level: Manager Duration: 6 Months Responsibilities: Lead the adoption of React Native, defining strategies for seamless integration with existing native iOS and Android teams. Architect, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable mobile features. Partner closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive, pixel-perfect user experiences. Continuously optimize mobile performance, including startup time, memory usage, bundle size, and frame-rate stability. Contribute to technical planning and the evolution of mobile architecture and tooling. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, strengthening overall mobile engineering excellence. Required Qualifications: Extensive experience building cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. Strong expertise in TypeScript for maintainable, type-safe codebases. Hands-on experience with native module bridging, platform-specific configurations, and third-party SDK integrations. Deep understanding of mobile performance optimization and platform-specific behaviors. Proficiency in UI implementation, state management, and responsive design. Self-starter with the ability to own projects end-to-end, from concept through delivery. Strong collaboration skills in hybrid, distributed team environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within a large mobile organization (10+ feature teams). Proven success leading React Native adoption in a brownfield environment alongside existing native apps. Experience with React Native for Web. Contributions to shared, cross-platform design systems. Hands-on expertise with Expo SDK, EAS Build/Submit/Update, and OTA update workflows. Familiarity with TestFlight, Google Play Console, and automated release pipelines. Experience with CI/CD processes, including GitHub Actions and EAS Build. Passion for emerging mobile technologies and driving development velocity in fast-paced environments.
