Tableau Developer / Data Analyst

LOCAL PREFERREDRole Summary We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer with strong analytical and data visualization expertise. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders, defining data requirements, and delivering interactive, high-performing dashboards and reports that drive business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements and convert them into technical specifications. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data sources using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Perform in-depth data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of insights. Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability, ensuring fast and reliable access across user groups. Partner with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless data integration into Tableau. Stay current with Tableau features, visualization best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities. Provide end-user training and support for Tableau dashboards and reports as needed. Required Skills & Experience 6-8 years of experience in data visualization and BI development, with a strong focus on Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Proven expertise in building advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Hands-on experience with data validation, data modeling, and performance optimization. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases for data extraction and transformation. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Good to Have Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.). Knowledge of ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, or cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Tableau Certification(s) (Desktop Specialist, Desktop Certified Associate, etc.).
