Job Summary: Responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and documentation of oral medications in a clinical setting. This role supports physicians and staff by maintaining medication inventory, processing prescriptions, and ensuring regulatory compliance per Arizona State Board of Pharmacy standards. Key Responsibilities • Order and maintain inventory of medications for daily pharmacy and mix room operations • Maintain accurate counts and secure storage of oral medications per OSHA regulations • Fill prescriptions based on physician orders • Process oral medication before authorizations • Complete Foundation Assistance applications • Perform regular inventory checks and ensure proper stock levels • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area • Travel between AUUA offices as needed to meet operational demands • Ensure compliance with all guidelines related to the role of a Licensed Certified Pharmacy Technician • Support additional tasks or site-specific responsibilities as assigned by management Required Education & Qualifications • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage last-minute changes and dynamic clinic needs • Clear written and verbal communication skills Physical Demands & Work Environment • Must regularly talk, hear, and use hands for handling or operating tools • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds • May be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, kneel, or crouch throughout the workday • Must use PPE and comply with OSHA safety requirements • Moderate noise level work environment • Visual requirements include near and far vision, color recognition, and depth perception
