Companionship & Support Reading to a patient or holding a hand Staying with a patient while family members take a needed break Listening and offering comfort Helping patients write or tell their life stories Shopping or running light errands Assisting with light household chores ? Creative & Therapeutic Activities Leading or assisting with art classes at nursing homes Sharing your musical talents: singing, playing an instrument, or bringing the joy of music Working on crafts or other creative projects with patients ?ââï¸ Personal Care & Expression Helping patients feel their best by offering haircuts, grooming, or makeup assistance Licensed or experienced hair stylists and barbers especially welcome ? Pet Therapy Teams Certified therapy animals bring comfort, happiness, and companionship to patients and families ?ï¸ Veteran Volunteers Veterans are especially needed to honor and support fellow veterans, share stories, attend recognition ceremonies, or visit bedside ?ï¸ Office & Clerical Support Help our hospice team with filing, mailings, phone calls, and special projects Who We Serve: We care for patients facing life-limiting illnesses and their families, offering emotional, spiritual, and practical support.
