Companionship & Support Reading to a patient or holding a hand Staying with a patient while family members take a needed break Listening and offering comfort Helping patients write or tell their life stories Shopping or running light errands Assisting with light household chores ? Creative & Therapeutic Activities Leading or assisting with art classes at nursing homes Sharing your musical talents: singing, playing an instrument, or bringing the joy of music Working on crafts or other creative projects with patients ?‍♀️ Personal Care & Expression Helping patients feel their best by offering haircuts, grooming, or makeup assistance Licensed or experienced hair stylists and barbers especially welcome ? Pet Therapy Teams Certified therapy animals bring comfort, happiness, and companionship to patients and families ?️ Veteran Volunteers Veterans are especially needed to honor and support fellow veterans, share stories, attend recognition ceremonies, or visit bedside ?️ Office & Clerical Support Help our hospice team with filing, mailings, phone calls, and special projects Who We Serve: We care for patients facing life-limiting illnesses and their families, offering emotional, spiritual, and practical support.
