REQUIREMENT Cloud AWS Engineer Lead Location: Memphis, TN Duration: 6-12 Months Experience Required: 10+ Years Job Description We are seeking a seasoned Cloud AWS Engineer Lead with strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, DevOps, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will lead cloud engineering initiatives, review architectures, drive security compliance, and support scalable deployments across production and non-production environments. Core Responsibilities (Must-Have) Design, build, and configure scalable cloud-based data processing and web application infrastructure using AWS/Azure services. Provision and manage cloud resources such as storage, event/message services, Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS), Databricks components, gateways, databases, and service accounts. Review infrastructure configuration and automation scripts created by development teams, ensuring standards and best practices. Establish and validate network connectivity across cloud components and hybrid environments. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments. Manage IAM role assignments, permissions, and access controls across environments. Ensure monitoring, observability, and alerting of deployed services. Design and implement automation, orchestration, and self-service solutions to accelerate development teams. Review proposed solution architectures, provide security compliance feedback, and align with DataWorks and enterprise security standards. Essential Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to cloud platforms. 6+ years in cloud operations / infrastructure engineering, including leadership responsibilities. Deep expertise in AWS (preferred) and working knowledge of Azure. Strong experience with containerization & orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). Proficiency in automation & scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and collaborating with stakeholders. Strong communication, problem solving, and architectural review capabilities. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Architect. Experience with cloud cost optimization and budgeting. Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana). Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity strategy.
