Senior Network Engineer

Oxford Solutions is working with a client in Pittsburgh, PA seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a direct hire opportunity. This is an onsite role supporting a complex, multi-location enterprise network environment. The position is highly visible and will play a key role in maintaining secure, high-availability infrastructure while helping design and scale network architecture to support growth and acquisitions. Responsibilities Support and maintain a global multi-site LAN/WAN and converged network infrastructure with strong uptime requirements Administer and secure enterprise network systems including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, and telecom connectivity Design and enhance network architecture across data center, cloud, wireless, and secure remote access environments Lead planning, testing, and implementation of network upgrades, integrations, and performance improvements Support network and voice integrations tied to business expansion and acquisitions Manage network security controls, access policies, and technical documentation Collaborate with distributed IT teams to ensure seamless connectivity across shared environments Provide advanced (Tier 3) troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues Participate in an on-call rotation and occasional travel as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience CCNA certification or comparable practical expertise 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience, including senior-level or lead responsibilities Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies Experience configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and enterprise routing protocols Experience with secure remote access technologies including VPN and ZTNA Background supporting AWS cloud networking environments Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams Senior Network Engineer / Network Architect - 26-00156
