This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems while delivering exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate is technically strong, safety‑minded, and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, year‑round service environment.Key ResponsibilitiesService & RepairDiagnose and repair HVAC systems including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, condensers, mini‑splits, and package unitsPerform routine maintenance, tune‑ups, and system inspectionsTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issuesRecommend repair options and system improvements to customersCustomer InteractionCommunicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, property managers, and business ownersProvide accurate explanations of findings, repair options, and pricingMaintain a clean, respectful presence on job sitesDocumentation & ComplianceUse Housecall Pro to complete service tickets, estimates, and job notes accurately and on timeFollow all company safety protocols, EPA regulations, and local code requirementsMaintain truck inventory and ensure tools and equipment are in proper working orderTeam & Operational SupportCollaborate with dispatch and office staff to ensure efficient schedulingParticipate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours or emergency serviceSupport training of junior technicians when neededQualifications5+ years of HVAC service experience preferred (residential or light commercial)EPA 608 Certification requiredStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in Florida’s heat and humidity, including attic and rooftop environmentsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordExcellent communication and customer‑service skillsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and use ladders safelyPreferred Experience (Not Required)Proficiency with Housecall Pro softwareExperience with smart thermostats, zoning systems, and variable‑speed equipmentFamiliarity with Florida building codes and permitting processesWhat We OfferCompetitive pay and 401k matchingCompany vehicle, fuel card, tablet, and uniformsHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and paid holidaysOngoing training and professional developmentA stable, year‑round workload in a high‑demand service area
