Cyber Security Engineer Level I

We look forward to adding to our team and continuing our growth.Essential Functions: Assist Cyber Security Engineer Level II and III with daily tasks including but not limited to: Monitor SEIM and CVEs for needed updates for network infrastructure and assets (including but not limited to firewalls, switches, access points, servers, virtual private networks, and workstations) as needed to stay in security compliance with Security Operations Center (SOC)Configuration and maintenance of DHCP, DNS and domainsManage company SOC, EDR, Email Security, PAM and password management, and other security software and vendorsCoordinate with our vendors to conduct annual penetration testing, physical security testing, incident response plans, and BCDR simulationsAssist with management of cloud ERP systems and other application softwareManage apps to ensure increased security utilizing security including MFA and SSO enablement Coordinate work with all tiers of support to resolve IT issues Interface with employees, clients, and vendors in a professional manner Manage end user security training by utilizing our security vendor Assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the company network/application infrastructure as needed across multiple locations Competencies, Education, and Skills: Associate or bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, Information technology, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)Related certifications preferred (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, ISACA)Experience with configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS)Knowledge of Juniper networks is a plus1 - 3 years of related and successful experience performing cyber security functionsExperience with Desktop/Server/SAN/Mobility Software and HardwareExperience with Desktop/Server OS – Windows 101+, Server 2019+, All mobility OS platforms, LinuxExperience of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF and EIGRPExperience with Server and Network VirtualizationKnowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Teams, PowerPoint)Valid identification or driver’s licenseHighly resourcefulStrong interpersonal skillsInnovative and creative thinkingComplex problem-solvingOrganized and attention-to-detail approachExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work closely in a team environment and manage independent projects Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm) Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000/Year Physical Demands: Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of timeOccasionally bending and lifting up to 50 lbsTravel as needed between FreshEdge companiesStand or sit for long periods of timeBe able to sit, stand, and move as necessary to service server and network equipment Benefits: Health & Welfare Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Voluntary Life)Paid Time OffHolidays401(k) with Company MatchWeekly PayCareer Advancement Opportunities All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and pregnancy-related conditions), gender identity or expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws and ordinances.
