LPN or EMT Unit Clinician FT or PRN Nights

Pillar Clinical Research provides numerous research study opportunities for volunteers in our local communities such as studies for depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, addictions, post-partum depression, and ADHD.Our clinical research site is looking for an experienced LPN or EMT to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality of care throughout the inpatient facility. They may also help manage and train our unit staff. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a nursing leadership position, a strong ability to work with a team, and an in-depth knowledge of mental health care.Position responsibilities: Maintaining high standards of careManaging patients' data and medical records with confidentiality and sensitivityInteracting with doctors, patients and family members This position also includes the following duties: Medication dispensation and maintaining accurate recordsDocumenting patient observations and clinical notesOverseeing the unit to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the safety of the patientsCollect vital signsCollect blood, urine or other laboratory specimens, and prepare them for testingProvide clinical support to physicians during patient examinations and procedures, as neededPrepare and maintain treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the room stocked and cleaned, reorder supplies, and dispose of bio-hazardous suppliesPerform other duties as assigned or required Must hold a current, valid LPN or EMT licenseMinimum of 1 year providing direct patient care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders is required, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting.Job Type: Full-time or PRN (as needed) Nights 7 PM - 7 AMPay: From $21.00 per hourBenefits: Flexible Schedule Paid Time Off (for Full-time) Voluntary Assistance Programs Life Insurance HSA Option Medical, Vision, and Dental Medical Specialty: Psychiatry Ability to commute/relocate: Bentonville, AR: Reliably commute (Required) Experience: mental health: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: LPN or EMT License (Required) Work Location: In person
