What You'll Do As a Full-Time LPN, you will provide hands-on nursing care in a residential setting while supporting the health, comfort, and dignity of the individuals we serve. Nursing & Resident Care • Provide direct nursing care and respond promptly to resident needs. • Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being. • Perform skilled nursing tasks such as medication administration, wound care, tube feedings, catheterization, respiratory treatments, and other prescribed treatments. • Collaborate closely with DSPs, supervisors, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team. • Communicate with physicians as needed and report changes in residents' conditions. Medication Administration • Prepare and administer medications accurately and safely. • Verify resident identity prior to medication or treatment administration. • Monitor medication supplies and report needs or discrepancies promptly. • Maintain accurate narcotic counts and medication records. • Report medication errors or concerns immediately to nursing leadership. Documentation & Compliance • Maintain clear, timely, and accurate nursing documentation. • Transcribe physician orders and update medication records and care plans. • Ensure charts reflect care provided and resident response. • Follow all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory standards. What We're Looking For • Active Louisiana LPN license (required). • Experience in residential or long-term care preferred; new graduates are welcome. • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills. • Compassion, patience, and professionalism. • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player. • A genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities in a residential setting.
