Deliver focused one-on-one therapy addressing communication skills, language proficiency, fluency, vocal dynamics, and swallowing capabilities. Collaborate with physical and occupational therapy colleagues, nurses, physicians, and family members to foster seamless care approaches. Provide education to patients and their families to encourage progress outside the therapy environment. Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and therapy, ensuring consistency of care throughout every patient's journey. Maintain precise and timely medical records in accordance with local, state, and institutional regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development and collaborate with peers to stay abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of hire.
