Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations with patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessments and observational techniques. Create individualized treatment strategies that target both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions centered on language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive care strategies. Provide education for patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond our clinical setting. Assist in delivering occasional inpatient speech assessments and treatments, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational requirements. Engage in continuous professional development through education and teamwork. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment. Desired Skills Expertise in evidence-based treatment for individuals of all ages, with a deep understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Aptitude for adapting therapy methods to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical judgment complemented by effective problem-solving skills.
