Position Title: Process Improvement PM Location: Menlo Park California 94025 Duration: 8 months with high possibilities of extension Pay Range: $75-85/hr on W2 Job Description Summary: We are seeking a Process Improvement Project Manager (PM) to drive standardization, centralization, and documentation of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and operating models. This role will focus on identifying and executing improvement initiatives across a broad set of NPI functions-spanning documentation workflows, governance models, communication frameworks, and operational handoffs. The PM will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define, document, and deploy scalable best practices that enhance efficiency, consistency, and transparency across NPI programs. Key Responsibilities: • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline and standardize NPI workflows, documentation structures, and operating models. • Identify, prioritize, and drive execution across a portfolio of 30+ improvement opportunities impacting manufacturing, engineering, and program management teams. • Collaborate with global stakeholders to define standard templates, tools, and documentation systems for NPI readiness and reporting. • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to capture pain points, define requirements, and align on future-state processes. • Create and maintain a central repository of NPI process documentation, SOPs, and best practices. • Track performance metrics and provide ongoing reporting to demonstrate process improvements and operational impact. • Support change management by ensuring smooth adoption of new processes across all NPI stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of program or process management experience, ideally supporting NPI, manufacturing operations, or engineering teams. • Proven success in process documentation, standardization, and optimization initiatives. • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple improvement efforts simultaneously. • Experience driving cross-functional collaboration in large, complex organizations. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; able to influence without direct authority. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with hardware or infrastructure NPI programs (Meta, Apple, Google, or similar environments). • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. • Strong documentation and presentation skills using tools such as Confluence, Smartsheet, or SharePoint. • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification preferred. • Background in engineering, manufacturing, or operations management a plus.
