Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Job Details:• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM• 36 hours guaranteed per week• Every other weekend schedule required• Minimum 2 years medical surgical experience required• Telemetry experience beneficial but not required• Patient ratio of 1:6• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS• ACLS and NIHSS can be obtained during placement process if needed• MEDITECH charting system experience highly preferred• McKesson medication system• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)• May float to other medical surgical units within scope of practice• Cancellation policy: 1 shift per 4 weeks maximum• 39-bed unit with 24 medical surgical/telemetry beds• Care includes pacemaker monitoring, potassium level management, and basic telemetry• BSN not required• 13-week assignment Facility:This healthcare system provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on acute care in a community hospital setting.
