As an integral member of our airport construction team, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of essential airport facilities, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards. Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee and manage construction services for multiple complex projects at an international airport facility. Conduct ongoing inspections, quality assurance checks, and specialty inspections throughout the construction process. Review contractor performance, inspect delivered materials, and ensure all necessary certifications are in order. Ensure compliance with approved construction documents, specifications, and contract terms. Document daily observations and proactively address noncompliance issues as they arise. Coordinate and verify field material testing to uphold industry standards. Accurately review and approve contractor pay applications. Evaluate contractor quality control and safety procedures. Perform daily safety inspections to maintain a safe work environment. Review construction plans and specifications thoroughly. Assess contractor submittals for compliance and constructability. This role involves physical labor, outdoor work in various conditions, and requires self-motivation and independence. Frequent travel to construction sites is essential; a valid driver's license is required. Be prepared for extended working hours and potential overnight stays. Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years in construction inspection experience. Associate's degree or Technical Training in construction management, engineering, or a related field with 6 years of construction inspection experience. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience. 8+ years of construction inspection, material testing, or observation experience within the transportation sector. Preferred state certifications in Materials Testing and safety certifications. Experience in airport construction projects is highly desirable. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
