We are seeking a dynamic Lead Product Manager to drive our transformative growth strategies. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire user journey-from trial acquisition to paid conversion and continuous platform adoption across our Operations Cloud. This is your chance to cultivate a culture of experimentation across the organization while leading the vision, strategy, and execution of critical conversion optimization initiatives. Your expertise in data synthesis and user behavior analysis will be key to enhancing conversion funnels, onboarding experiences, and feature adoption workflows. We are looking for an individual who excels in creating a thriving experimentation culture, possesses strong business acumen in hybrid Software License Growth (SLG) and Product-Led Growth (PLG) environments, and thrives in fast-paced settings while managing competing priorities. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor other product managers on growth-focused best practices. Key Responsibilities: Growth Strategy & Experimentation Define and execute a compelling vision and strategy for AI growth products and services. Drive effective trial-to-paid conversion strategies and optimize customer experiences across the Operations Cloud platform. Create and expand the experimentation infrastructure, encouraging an organization-wide culture of experimentation. Guide product teams through optimization cycles with well-defined success criteria. Make data-driven decisions to enhance user onboarding, activation, and growth metrics. Cross-Functional Leadership & Enablement Lead a dedicated cross-functional team of engineers and UX designers, focusing on innovative growth initiatives. Empower existing product managers to integrate growth and experimentation models into their processes. Collaborate closely with the pricing team to develop strategies that facilitate user adoption during transition models. Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to define effective product-led go-to-market strategies. User Experience & Conversion Optimization Design cohesive user journeys for trials that significantly enhance activation rates. Implement in-product growth features, including upgrade prompts and usage dashboards. Optimize navigation and information architecture to improve self-service adoption. Leverage AI to provide enhanced user personalization and support. Analytics & Performance Establish robust growth analytics capabilities to derive insights into user behavior and conversion factors. Create and execute comprehensive A/B testing programs to improve key growth metrics. Integrate qualitative feedback with quantitative testing results to prioritize efforts based on impact. Foster a rapid iteration and learning mindset within teams. Basic Qualifications: Deep understanding of developers and reliability engineers as end users and their organizational dynamics. Insight into the interaction between end users and buyers and its impact on growth and retention. Experience with modern incident management products from an organizational perspective. 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years focused on growth products in PLG SaaS settings. Proven ability to optimize conversion funnels and drive measurable growth in enterprise SaaS solutions. Familiarity with A/B testing platforms and growth analytics tools. Strong analytical skills to translate data insights into user experience improvements. Experience with matrix management of engineering and design teams. Proven track record in training and enabling other PMs in growth methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in building growth strategies in environments with both sales-led and product-led approaches. Background in transitions to consumption-based or usage-based pricing models. Experience with AI/ML applications in optimizing growth and personalizing user experiences. Familiarity with developer tools and enterprise operations platforms. History of successfully establishing experimentation cultures across product teams. Strong business acumen with a keen understanding of enterprise customer behaviors and expansion strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to revitalize PagerDuty's growth capabilities and make a significant impact on our business through enhanced user experiences, conversion optimization, and maturation of organizational experimentation. The base salary for this position ranges from 156,000 to 237,000 CAD, with potential eligibility for bonus, commission, equity, and additional benefits. Our base salary range is informed by various factors, including role, level, and location, reflecting our expectations for newly hired employees in this position.
