KPMG is on the lookout for a Data Science Manager who specializes in Non-Financial Risk to become a part of our Consulting practice. Responsibilities: Serve as the technical lead in designing and developing state-of-the-art AI/ML solutions tailored to meet clients' specific needs, engaging in discussions to capture business requirements and showcasing your data science expertise. Create and implement advanced solutions utilizing natural language processing and machine learning to tackle critical issues and optimize processes for capital markets and financial services, including trade surveillance, payment fraud detection, and operational risk management. Utilize machine learning and statistical analysis techniques, including sentiment analysis and regression, to evaluate risks prevalent in financial services. Conduct comprehensive data analyses, formulate hypotheses, analyze historical data, and identify patterns to craft innovative solutions for operational risk and compliance challenges. Lead and mentor technical teams, enhancing data science capabilities while collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment and client satisfaction with AI/ML solutions. Communicate progress and findings effectively to stakeholders, detailing your approach, data requirements, and final solutions. Uphold KPMG's standards of integrity and professionalism in all interactions. Qualifications: A minimum of six years of relevant experience in advanced analytics and data science, with at least two years in a management role overseeing complex projects. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field, such as data science, computer science, engineering, or mathematics. Proven expertise in AI/ML algorithm development and data analysis, including experience in NLP or predictive modeling, with strong capabilities in data handling and analysis. Proficiency in a statistical programming language (like R or Python) and familiarity with data science/machine learning libraries (such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, or Pytorch). Outstanding communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Client service experience is preferred. Willingness to travel as needed based on client requirements.
