Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS & Terraform) Location: Plano, TX (Local candidates only) - Onsite Duration: Long Term Experience Required: 12+ Years Job Description: Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructures on AWS, using Terraform as the core Infrastructure-as-Code tool. This role requires someone who has led cloud transformation initiatives, implemented CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, and worked extensively with containerization and orchestration platforms. Key Responsibilities: Architect, automate, and manage AWS cloud environments using Terraform for IaC. Build and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines supporting rapid and reliable deployments. Implement advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to ensure system reliability. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enforce DevOps best practices. Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, security, and high scalability. Lead troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis for cloud and deployment issues. Mentor junior engineers and guide teams on DevOps standards, automation strategies, and cloud patterns. Required Skills & Experience: 12+ years of total IT experience with strong DevOps specialization. Deep hands-on expertise with AWS services, cloud networking, security, and automation. Strong proficiency in Terraform, modules, workflows, and reusable IaC patterns. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.). Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell). Experience with monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Strong communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills
