CWI Inspector Offshore

New Tech Global is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector for an offshore project out of Galveston, Texas. Will work a 14 on/14 off rotation, schedule 12 hours a day. ONLY paid for hours worked while on the hitch, not when 14 off during the rotation. 8 hours of pay will occur for MOB. Expenses are covered $35/meal (on-shore) per meal, hotel, airfare and mileage. Must have CWI certification. Must have off shore experience. CWI needs to be capable of performing inspections on new structural weld fabrication offshore along with CWI tasks. Will be tracking structural weld fabrications and monitoring welding operations. Will be supervising Welders and monitoring they are following procedure. This role is structural, working with welds. No NDT certifications needed. Required: BOISET Rigging cert (API-RP-2D standard) USCG Physical & Drug screen current or will be taken upon validation - Current TWIC SafeGulf NCMS - safety check that consist of a background check, drug screen & proof of TB test. This will be a secondary check outside of OII requirements which takes about 1 week to turn around.
