Job Description: Crowe is in search of a Senior Consultant in Credit Risk Evaluation to join our skilled team providing essential credit risk consulting services to a range of financial service clients. In this role, you will: Conduct thorough loan reviews and engage in credit-related consulting projects. Perform detailed financial analyses such as cash flow modeling and collateral assessments to identify and mitigate credit risks. Evaluate commercial loan applications to ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures. Systematically analyze loans to assess credit quality, adequacy of documentation, and adherence to policy. Collaborate on credit projects under managerial guidance while leading specific project components. Support financial institutions across diverse regions. Assume leadership responsibilities by nurturing client relationships and driving business growth. Prepare and deliver clear and impactful reports with actionable recommendations for our clients. Qualifications: Educational and Professional Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial institutions or regulatory supervisory roles. A graduate degree or professional certification (e.g., RMA CRC) is a plus. Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Experience in leveraged lending, capital call, subscription loans, venture lending, or Asset-Based Lending (ABL) is desired. Background in underwriting, lending, or regulatory matters (note that consumer finance experience is not applicable). Familiarity with different loan products and industries. Knowledge of SBA SOP is advantageous. Solid understanding of credit processes including loan origination, underwriting, and portfolio management. In-depth knowledge of federal and state banking laws pertaining to credit risk. Experience with risk ratings and methodologies is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information across various settings. Demonstrated ability to take on increasing responsibilities, including supervising teams and managing multiple projects. Self-motivated and resourceful in problem-solving, with a strong capacity to prioritize tasks independently. Dedication to personal growth and team success, aiming to achieve common goals. The estimated salary range for this role is $74,100.00 - $147,800.00 annually, influenced by various factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and business needs.
