General Manager Trainee

What You Will Do Are you ready to lead a team dedicated to excellence every day? As a General Manager at Wendy's: You will oversee all staffing and operations within a Wendy's restaurant. Our focus on fresh food relies on you and your team delivering quality service consistently. Your team will treat every customer like family, ensuring they receive great food and superb service that keeps them returning. You will mentor Shift Managers and Crew Members, continually improving each shift for better performance. You’re adept at receiving and providing direction professionally. You're responsible for driving sales growth and achieving profit goals. Whether your journey started as a Crew Member or from another sector in food service, your passion for Wendy’s is evident. What You Bring to the Table A minimum of three to four years of leadership experience, preferably in food service. A high school diploma or GED is necessary; any college experience or military background is a plus. You have demonstrated expertise in managing operations in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and standards is mandatory. Availability to work flexible hours is required. You Are Willing and Able to: Travel to other locations, including restaurants and area offices, as necessary. Stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, and lift weights between 25 to 50 pounds. Handle various weather conditions, such as rain in the drive-thru or trash disposal during summer months.
