Lab & Operations Coordinator

Lab & Operations Coordinator Role overview The Lab & Operations Coordinator plays a critical cross-functional role supporting Ereztech's laboratory and operational teams. This position is responsible for coordinating purchasing, inventory management, shipping and receiving, vendor sourcing, and project support to ensure the smooth flow of materials and supplies across the organization. The ideal candidate has experience working in a scientific or chemical environment and is highly organized, proactive, and detail oriented. Key deliverables for this role Order laboratory and office supplies to support ongoing operations. Source and evaluate vendors for equipment, materials, and services. Request quotes, track orders, and follow-up on deliveries. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers. Track inventory levels of chemical canisters, consumables, and materials. Perform inventory transactions and updates within SAP. Coordinate internal distribution of materials from inventory. Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconciliations. Serve as a back-up for managing inbound and outbound shipments. Assist with scheduling projects and operational initiatives. Coordinate material needs for R&D and production projects. Support cross-functional teams with supply chain and logistics needs. Identify process improvement opportunities within operations. Traits of a strong candidate 3-5 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or laboratory support required. experience in a chemical, or scientific environment preferred. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Familiarity with handling hazardous materials. Experience with vendor sourcing and procurement is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detail oriented, highly organized, strong communication, proactive problem solver, and comfortable working cross-functionally. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
