Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire. Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
