Your Role As the Director of the Clinical Practice Liaison (CPL) team, you will be instrumental in leading and inspiring our team to fulfill its mission. You will establish objectives and goals, measuring performance to ensure our healthcare education efforts are high-quality and unbiased. Your leadership will also involve mentoring and supporting team members in their professional growth. Lead and empower CPLs, strategically managing territories to achieve objectives. Monitor team performance through evaluations and activity analysis while providing administrative oversight. Drive the development of territory KOL plans, ensuring accountability for goals and KPIs. Enhance clinical acumen by facilitating knowledge sharing between CPLs and Medical Science Liaison teams. Identify ongoing training needs and collaborate with stakeholders to create educational resources. Oversee onboarding and training for new CPLs, ensuring a smooth transition into the team. Manage insights collection and reporting for the CPL team. Utilize your expertise to address the needs of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) practices in centers of excellence. Partner with strategy leads to co-develop Medical Affairs initiatives related to APPs. Ensure alignment of team activities with United Therapeutics' mission and strategic objectives. Contribute to medical congress planning and tactical communications alongside senior leadership. Collaborate with the Analytics Lead to define KPIs and measurable impacts. Enhance regional communications, creating value through education and expertise. Engage with field stakeholders to collect insights and promote collaboration. Minimum Requirements Master's Degree, Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) with 10+ years of relevant experience; or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or PhD with 7+ years of relevant experience. 3+ years in a CPL/MSL role demonstrating leadership skills. 5+ years of clinical experience in pulmonary hypertension and/or ILD/IPF. A valid Driver's License. Proven track record of excellence as a Field Medical professional. Strong leadership capabilities, including mentorship and strategic vision. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience managing a field-based medical team, preferably with APPs. Experience with Veeva for reporting purposes. The salary range for this position is $186,500 - $250,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and market considerations. This position also includes eligibility for short-term and long-term incentive programs, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plans, paid time off, disability benefits, and more.
