Job Description Summary We are seeking a skilled Cost Management Leader for our Combustors and Structural Components (C&SC) team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee, communicate, and enhance the financial positioning of the C&SC Part Family and its associated shops. Collaborating closely with site cost focal points, Manufacturing Engineers, Design teams, and Engine Programs, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving overall efficiency. You'll also play a key role in compiling and presenting financial commitments for New Product Introduction (NPI) audits and redesign estimates, while defining effective cost methodologies. This position requires close interaction with Sourcing and Engine Program personnel to monitor and report on supplier costs and material impacts related to all C&SC owned hardware. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Act as the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) owner for C&SC Cost Productivity & NIP. Collaborate with site finance & cost focal points to successfully implement cost productivity & NIP projects across C&SC shops. Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and communication rhythms necessary for effective execution of cost productivity projects both at the site level and part family level. Drive the creation and resourcing of a strategic multi-year project pipeline focused on cost reduction. Engage with external resources (e.g., Design, Sourcing, Engine Programs) to enhance the execution of cost productivity initiatives. Educate and guide manufacturing engineers, product owners, and production teams on productivity principles across all C&SC locations. Foster collaboration across sites to disseminate successful cost-reduction strategies and lessons learned. Utilize lean principles and participate in kaizen events to enhance production flow, product quality, and overall cost-efficiency. Partner with Engine Program cost focal teams to effectively communicate project drivers, opportunities, status updates, and forecasting. Compile and maintain commitments for NPI Cost Audit as outlined in GE procedures for new products and redesign projects. Contribute to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Kaizen events, providing insights to Manufacturing and Engineering teams to address and mitigate cost-related risks. Identify industry trends and recommend best practices for enhancing products, processes, or services. Lead cross-functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements and complexities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or program/project management. Basic understanding of GE’s Cost Management System and manufacturing processes. Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or relevant leadership roles. Successful track record in implementing cost reduction or quality improvement initiatives in manufacturing settings. Experienced in leading technical teams in a production environment. Proficiency in cross-functional and geographically dispersed team collaboration. Familiarity with manufacturing and inspection processes related to the C&SC part family. Experience in high mix production environments. Knowledge of GD&T, datum structures, and CAD2CAM principles. Strong project management and facilitation skills. Understanding of process capabilities and statistical methods. Pay Transparency The base salary range for this role is $159,000 - $250,000, influenced by factors such as experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. The application deadline for this position is February 1, 2026.
