We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Insurance Verification Coordinator to join our team. This role is tailored for individuals eager to make an impact in the business insurance sector by ensuring the accuracy of essential information through direct communication. This is a fully remote position offering 32 hours of work per week, with flexible scheduling from 9 am to 5 pm ET, and a competitive salary of $15 per hour. Key Responsibilities Perform phone calls to verify information submitted by clients and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with insurance policies. Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance agencies, brokers, and other relevant parties to facilitate efficient verification processes. Accurately enter verified data into management systems, ensuring up-to-date information retrieval. Generate reports for management regarding verification progress and escalate any discrepancies or issues promptly. Handle assigned verification projects proactively while working closely with team members to support collective objectives. Uphold professionalism in all communications to enhance the company’s reputation and foster positive client experiences. Report to the Team Lead or Manager in the Business Insurance Department. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of experience in business insurance; insurance agent license is preferred. Familiarity with Certificates of Insurance (COI) is essential. At least 2 years of experience in phone verification or customer service roles, with a proven record of effective problem-solving. Excellent English communication skills, emphasizing clarity and professionalism; fluency in another language is a plus. Experience with Zendesk is advantageous for streamlined support management. Adaptability to industry changes and a commitment to continuous learning is expected for optimal performance. Reliability in attendance is crucial to ensure effective team coverage during working hours.
