Associate CAD Engineer Technician

Purpose The Associate CAD Technician supports the engineering team by assisting in the creation of technical drawings, 3D renderings, and project documentation. This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual looking to develop their technical design skills within the professional broadcast and integrated solutions industry. This position is based onsite at our Grapevine, TX facility. It is hybrid and must be in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Minimum of 6 months experience with Vectorworks / Connect CAD is required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist the Engineering team in producing accurate CAD drawings and 3D renderings for active projects and sales proposals. Update and maintain project documentation to ensure clients receive the most current technical information. Coordinate with field engineers and technicians to gather site-specific data and measurements required to complete technical drafts. Review work for accuracy and compliance with company standards under the guidance of senior staff. Perform administrative or technical tasks as assigned to support the project lifecycle. Position Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required. (Associate degree or technical certification in CAD/Drafting preferred). Minimum of 6 months experience with Vectorworks / Connect CAD is required A strong interest in and understanding of technical systems. A background or interest in Broadcast Media is a significant plus. Core Competencies for Growth: High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
