This role is in support of the Army Sustainment Command (ASC), with opportunities for travel to assist DoD customers as needed. As an Army Logistics Planner, you will play a vital role supporting the Army Sustainment Command (ASC). Your Responsibilities Will Include: Managing daily operations, synchronization, and coordination for the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), while offering insights and information on operational matters. Conducting professional research and analysis of new policies, regulations, directives, or industry issues, creating briefings and information papers, and maintaining training and exercise files in SharePoint. Creating and maintaining complete LOGCAP contract requirements packages, ensuring accuracy and suitability. Reviewing and drafting analyses, coordinating and developing staff actions and inquiries; preparing briefings in compliance with Army regulations. Monitoring ongoing operations and exercises requiring comprehensive research and prompt inquiry responses. Providing timely, professional responses to inquiries and preparing briefings and special studies. Tracking evolving LOGCAP requirements and their impacts. Participating in various training and exercise events, including LOGCAP.Developing and updating training curriculum. Attending meetings and teleconferences, preparing reports, and managing the Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects. Developing and updating scheduling requirements for exercise events. Successful Candidates Will Have: U.S. Citizenship An Active Secret Clearance A Bachelor's Degree 10 years of experience supporting a Joint, U.S. Army, or component level headquarters Completion of military Intermediate Level Education (MEL4) program and the Support Operations Course (Phase 2) with logistics experience in deployment or combat support operations A solid understanding of the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) Broad knowledge of the Army sustainment enterprise and its interactions with other procuring headquarters, such as USTRANSCOM Recent experience within a one-star or higher-level command Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time A valid U.S. Passport About Serco Serco Inc. is the Americas division of Serco Group, plc.
