Schedule Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 10pm EST, on call/callback and holidays per unit needs. Job Description We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled in operating the MRI machine efficiently while ensuring patient comfort throughout the scanning process. The technologist will coordinate with the patient's physician to ensure timely results and must be comfortable working with patients from neonates through age 18, providing age-appropriate care. ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable. Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information. Adhere to all MRI safety policies and guidelines. Can adjust scanning parameters to accommodate a variety of patient ages. Independently determine when a scan must be stopped due to motion. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureTwo (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist. American Heart Association BLS certification. Siemens scanner experience is required. Level 1 Trauma Center experience. 6 months of pediatric experience. ARRT certification and New York State Rad Tech License (willing to consider candidates who do not have this at time of submission but must obtain prior to start). Why ARMStaffing?
