Lead Product Management Specialist Description: This key role collaborates closely with a Senior Product Manager to enhance the Future-State Learning Platform. What You Will Own Define and oversee a product roadmap focused on achieving meaningful outcomes, emphasizing user experience while considering customer requirements, technical feasibility, and business objectives. Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to leadership, teams, and customers. Work in partnership with Design, Engineering, Research, and support teams to devise, define, and launch innovative product features. Explore and validate opportunities to utilize AI/ML to address critical customer needs. Collaborate with Product Marketing and support teams to craft and execute go-to-market strategies that promote product adoption and user engagement. Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform product and business decisions, leveraging data and experimentation. Ensure successful project execution by managing roadmap initiatives, dependencies, and driving progress from concept to delivery. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Draft comprehensive product requirement documents (PRDs, opportunity solution trees, etc.) to align stakeholders across all levels. Create and present detailed business cases that highlight customer value, market potential, required investment, and anticipated business impacts to facilitate executive decisions. Incorporate regulatory, compliance, and privacy considerations into product decision-making processes. Foster a collaborative culture of shared responsibility and ongoing improvement within teams. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned. About You 5+ years of experience in Product Management, successfully guiding projects through the entire product lifecycle from inception to launch and beyond. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority and align various stakeholders effectively. Hands-on experience with AI tools for prototyping, automation, and content creation, enhancing design, development, and delivery processes. Comfort navigating uncertain situations and capable of clarifying goals for executive stakeholders through compelling communication and storytelling. Strong sense of design and user experience. Cross-functional knowledge in UX Design, Engineering, Finance, and Product Marketing. Expertise in modern Product Management methodologies, including Agile, Lean, and Continuous Discovery. Strategic thinking skills that connect market trends with customer needs and business goals. Experience in crafting enterprise business cases to drive product investment decisions. Skilled in managing relationships with third-party vendors or ecosystem partners. Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Product Management, or Business preferred. Ideal Candidates Will Also Have Experience in teaching, education, or the EdTech sector. Familiarity with Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence. Experience utilizing eCommerce analytics tools and platforms like Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Statsig, Grafana, etc. Advanced degree or certifications (MBA or equivalent) are a plus. Compensation At Pearson, compensation is influenced by diverse factors, including skill set, experience level, and specific location. The salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $140,000, and it is eligible for a 15% annual incentive program.
