What You'll DoClinical & Operational Leadership - Lead day-to-day CVICU operations to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery, optimal staffing, and efficient unit performance. Team Development & Engagement - Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing critical care nursing team while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.Physician & Interdisciplinary Collaboration - Partner closely with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to drive exceptional cardiovascular patient outcomes. Quality, Compliance & Performance Improvement - Oversee regulatory compliance, quality metrics, and strategic initiatives that continuously elevate clinical excellence and operational results. Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years of recent, relevant ICU experience, with strong cardiovascular or CVICU clinical background Minimum 3+ years of Recent (Within the last year) Acute Care Leadership Experience as a CVICU Manager (Required) BSN required Current RN License in the State of Texas or Multistate Compact License Compact license holders must obtain a Texas RN license within 60 days of hire Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Required) Preferred Qualifications Experience in a Level I or Level II CVICU or large tertiary cardiac program Certification in critical care (CCRN, CSC, or other cardiac specialty credential) Experience with post-operative cardiac surgery protocols, mechanical circulatory support (IABP, Impella, ECMO), and advanced hemodynamic monitoring Demonstrated success leading teams in high-acuity cardiovascular environments Compensation & Benefits Pay: $50-$60 per hour Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) with employer match Tuition reimbursement & continuing education support Paid time off, parental leave, wellness programs, and employee assistance resources Take The Next Step If you're a driven CVICU leader who thrives in high-acuity environments and is ready to make a measurable impact, we want to connect with you.
