Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state plus two years of experience as a licensed practical nurse. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: The outpatient LPN-3 position duties include, but are not limited to: Provides direct nursing care to clients receiving treatment for mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or medical illness. Responsible for performing individualized direct client care. Performs standard nursing services, which may include the following: administering prescribed medications, performing injections, maintaining documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), administering screenings, tests, and other required labs, conducting assessments and screens for new clients. Participates as an active member of an interdisciplinary Treatment Team. Position-Specific Details:Appointment Type: Probational Appointment Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care.
