In this vital role, you will spearhead all fundraising and development initiatives, concentrating on matching the urgent funding requirements of grassroots climate leaders with vital financial support. This position calls for a proactive, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirit, with a keen focus on fostering new fundraising partnerships, especially within the framework of Solidarity Philanthropy. You will collaborate closely with the President and CEO to secure substantial resources, broaden fundraising collaborations, and discover creative revenue-generating strategies. A primary goal is establishing a sustainable financial foundation for the organization while attracting transformational philanthropic investments and creating a diverse revenue model. Successful candidates should possess a minimum of 12 years in fundraising roles, showcasing a successful track record in leadership, preferably within early-stage organizations. Expertise in every aspect of fundraising, including major gifts, is essential, along with a willingness to innovate traditional methods. Strong communication capabilities, relationship-building skills, unwavering commitment to our mission, financial acumen, strategic planning experience, and familiarity with modern data management practices are all critical.
