Job Summary: The Seawall Construction Field Operations Manager will be instrumental in overseeing the timely completion, budget management, and adherence to the highest quality and safety standards during seawall construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage all field operations associated with seawall construction across diverse locations. Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to guarantee successful project delivery. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. Enforce safety regulations and best practices across all construction sites. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Conduct regular inspections of construction sites, swiftly identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. Provide leadership, training, and performance management for field staff to enhance team effectiveness. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. Establish and uphold quality control measures for outstanding workmanship. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in construction management, especially focused on coastal infrastructure and seawalls. Thorough understanding of coastal regulations and permitting processes in Florida. Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects with an emphasis on budgeting and scheduling. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to foster effective communication and collaboration. Strong understanding of construction best practices specific to seawall construction. Proficiency in project management software for estimating and reporting purposes. Exceptional problem-solving abilities with quick decision-making skills under pressure. Dedication to safety and fostering a culture of awareness on construction sites. Willingness to travel frequently within Florida and occasionally outside the state.
