Description Are you an experienced RN looking to make a difference in a fast-paced and rewarding environment? Join our team at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital! We are actively seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of recent ED experience. If you are willing to work nights, you can earn more through our Night Shift Incentive Program, offering $1,600 quarterly (up to $6,400 annually). Location: UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, Longmont, CO Department: LPH ER FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours every 2 weeks Shift: Nights Pay Range: $40.86 - $63.33 per hour, based on relevant experience. Summary: As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide leadership during your assigned shift, supervising and mentoring staff while ensuring high-quality patient care. You will also evaluate patient care effectiveness, respond to concerns, and assist with staffing and patient management as needed. Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor nursing staff throughout your shift. Determine staffing needs based on patient acuity and census. Provide direct patient care and assist with problem-solving across the unit. Evaluate the effectiveness of care and address complaints through appropriate channels. Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available for safe patient care. The role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work autonomously in a high-pressure environment. Requirements: Active Registered Nurse license. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications. PALS certification. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within three years of taking the Charge RN position. At least 1 year of nursing experience. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross must be valid upon starting. TNCC or ATCN, ENPC or PALS certifications required within one year of hire.
