Job Summary and Responsibilities The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is integral in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care by coordinating all functions within the unit. Working closely with the management team, the CNC actively monitors and evaluates nursing practices, acts as a vital resource for staff, and embodies our organization's vision and values to enhance the overall patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Streamline admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient and high-quality care. Continuously assess and enhance patient care quality in partnership with management. Encourage a teamwork-oriented environment that improves service delivery and patient outcomes. Promote a patient-first philosophy, actively engaging in service recovery when necessary. Support staff engagement through nursing strategies such as employee rounding. Contribute to hiring, training, and professional development while ensuring compliance with policies. Assist in staff scheduling based on patient care demands and productivity benchmarks. Manage inventory effectively to ensure a steady supply of necessary equipment. Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing - Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing/BSN - Highly Preferred Minimum of 1 year experience in perioperative healthcare - Required Leadership experience of 1 year or more - Preferred Active RN license as required by the state or appropriate compact licensure. Current BCLS Certification required; online certifications are not acceptable. ACLS, PALS, or other necessary certifications based on patient care area.
