Job Description Summary: The Edison Works Transformation team is dedicated to revolutionizing business processes through sustainable digital solutions, aimed at driving impactful process transformation. Collaborating closely with Digital Technology (DT) and Supply Chain Operations teams, this team plays a crucial role in implementing substantial internal changes within the GE Edison Works Supply Chain and its business processes. In this essential position, you will lead a strategic initiative focused on Enterprise Manufacturing and Assembly Transformation, which involves: Modernizing existing business processes by deploying sustainable digital solutions via integrated ERP, PLM, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Partnering with stakeholders and the Digital Technology (DT) organization to manage process changes and advance digital transformation. You will engage with supply chain users across various functions, including part families, shop operations, materials, quality, and finance. Close collaboration with DT and other transformation teams will be a key aspect of your role. This position requires strong operational judgment to achieve desired results. Roles and Responsibilities: Define manufacturing and assembly business processes, detailing the information flow between MES and ERP/PLM. Outline relevant shop floor operational requirements, conducting value stream analysis and process mapping to clarify operational processes for stakeholders. Document user requirements, manage the creation of acceptance criteria for business needs, and ensure that requirements are prioritized and addressed in the product roadmap. Develop and document standard work procedures by collaborating with cross-functional teams and systems integrators, while driving continuous process improvement. Project and program manage digital transformation initiatives, fostering collaboration between shop floor users and business solution implementation teams. Collaborate with the Edison Works enterprise business system architecture to guarantee effective implementation of DT solutions. Work with other GE Aerospace teams to identify current operational requirements and constraints, aiding in defining the manufacturing operations strategy while utilizing industry best practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly, component manufacturing, quality shop floor management/process improvement, or relevant experience in deploying Supply Chain software solutions. This role requires a US Government Secret-level clearance; you must be able to obtain and maintain this clearance. Must be a US Citizen. Desired Characteristics: Strong technical project management skills. Proven ability to analyze and solve problems, lead projects, and coordinate tasks across various stakeholders and vendors. Good understanding of business processes related to Manufacturing Execution Systems (e.g., iBASEt Solumina or similar), including user pain points and opportunities for improvement.
