Employees are encouraged to develop new skills and contribute to longterm operational success. Job Description Lead daily plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, and production performance. Set and communicate production goals, track results, and drive accountability. Oversee supervisors, production teams, and unionized staff across multiple shifts. Champion continuous improvement using structured methods such as 5S. Ensure accurate completion of production, safety, and quality documentation. Collaborate with scheduling and purchasing teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Provide handson support with troubleshooting and process optimization. Strengthen team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management. The Successful Applicant 5-7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience. Proven ability to manage teams of 30 or more employees. Experience working within a unionized plant environment. Working knowledge of ERP platforms such as AS400, SAP, Amtech, HRMS, or similar. Strong sense of urgency, organization, and process discipline. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual ability is a plus. Ability to manage multiple production lines in a fastpaced operation.
