Quality Manufacturing Associate - 3rd Shift

Job purpose A QMA 1 is responsible for operating one or more plastic injection molding machines or auxiliary equipment. QMA will inspect, perform value added work and pack parts accordingly. Duties and responsibilities Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Complete shift/press paperwork as required Ability to walk medium distances within press cycle times Comply with department policies, procedures and work instructions including the TASUS Quality Management System Must be able to take directions well. Participate in monthly meetings and TPS projects. Must be able to solve problems. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work in team environment and maintain positive attitude Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures Good attention to detail Working conditions Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required. Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when required Physical requirements Standing for long periods of time Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 40 pounds. Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, kneel and squat.
