GUI Linux/C++ Developer Chicago - Onsite About The Role: As our skilled GUI Designer/Developer with expertise, you'll utilize C++, Linux, Qt, and X11 optimization to create efficient, responsive user interfaces for our software. What You'll Do: Collaborate with teams to gather project and user requirements Design and develop Qt-based GUIs optimized for X11 systems Implement interfaces using Qt widgets, layouts, and stylesheets for a consistent UX Enhance GUI performance via asynchronous rendering, hardware acceleration, and resource management Conduct usability testing and refine designs based on feedback Keep current with Qt updates and best practices Work with backend developers to integrate UI with systems and APIs Document design standards, optimizations, and best practices Provide technical support and guidance on GUI development What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field Proficient in C++ and Qt (Widgets, QML, Qt Quick) Strong Linux knowledge Solid understanding of X11 architecture and experience with Xlib, XCB, or similar Familiar with version control tools like Git OOJ-1443G Skills: QT , LINUX , C++ , GIT
