Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within a year of hire. It is essential to maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
