Building Maintenance Technician

Description We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role includes maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, and pools, as well as performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. If you are proactive, dependable, and skilled in repairs, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry. • Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. • Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring efficient resolution. • Be available for emergency repairs and on-call support during evenings or weekends as needed. • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections. Qualifications • Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Availability for on-call hours, including weekends. • High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent training.
