Job DescriptionJoin Our Team at TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital! We're seeking a Cytotechnologist (ASCP-CT) to perform diagnostic evaluations of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens, including fine needle aspirations. This full-time, day-shift position (8 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday) offers a stable schedule with no weekend or holiday commitments. $10,000 Sign-on bonus available for external qualified candidatesLocation: Good Samaritan Hospital at 375 Dixmyth Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45220Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly | Day Shift | No weekends or holidays Minimum Job Requirements: Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification CT or equivalent certification; If registry eligible, certification must be obtained within one year of hire Non-gyn and FNA experience and knowledge 1-2 years of experience in a related field Benefits Highlights: Competitive Total Rewards package that includes: • Sign-on bonus available for eligible external candidates • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage • Retirement savings plans • Tuition reimbursement and professional development • Paid time off and holidays Job Overview: Perform cytological evaluation of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens, including fine needle aspiration, to assist in diagnosing benign, malignant, microbiologic, viral, and other pathological conditions. This position does not require direct supervision for specimen processing, testing, or reporting results.
