About the Role: We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team. This position will support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. The HR Generalist will serve as a resource to employees and managers while helping to support a positive, compliant, and people-focused work environment. Responsibilities Include: Provide support for employee relations issues by assisting with documentation, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution. Partner with managers on performance and attendance matters, escalating complex issues as needed. Support the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs. Assist with Leave of Absence (LOA) and Workers' Compensation processes. Coordinate and participate in full-cycle recruiting efforts including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters. Support onboarding and new hire orientation. Help maintain and update content on the company's LinkedIn page in partnership with the marketing team. Assist with benefits administration and employee wellness initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. Help coordinate training, performance review processes, and employee engagement activities. Generate and maintain HR data, files, and reports. Other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications Desired: Bachelor's degree required (Business or HR-related degree preferred). 3+ years of human resources experience required. Experience in a retail or similar industry is preferred but not required. Experience in a multi-state environment with a high volume of hourly employees is preferred but not required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters. Experience with social media (LinkedIn) and employer branding is a plus. Familiarity with an HRIS platform is required (Paycom is a plus).
