Details Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at a Joint Commission accredited, Duke LifePoint hospital with 205 licensed beds 11-bed inpatient rehab unit serving adult and geriatric patients Common diagnoses include CVA, amputations, multi-trauma, traumatic hip fractures, and debility 1:1 patient ratio Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM 36 hours per week; Saturdays only for weekend shifts, no more than 8 hours No on-call requirements Float to acute care setting on a PRN basis; intermittent acute care coverage may be required EMR: Paragon Clinical Carestation Lift equipment available on the unit Requirements Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required BS degree or higher in Physical Therapy required Current PT license required if applicable BLS certification required (RQI certifications are not accepted) Strong communication skills and attention to detail required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced inpatient rehab environment Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate Additional Information Preferred experience includes neuro, geriatrics, orthopedics, home modification planning, and family education Ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, outgoing, and detail-oriented Orientation dates are scheduled on specific dates throughout the year — confirm your start date aligns with the next available orientation Scrubs in any color are acceptable; jeans, leggings, t-shirts, and large graphics are not permitted Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment This facility has received an 'A' rating in the LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating American Traveler Job ID #P-680101.
