As a Lifeguard, you will play an essential role in ensuring a safe, well-supervised, and welcoming environment for all pool patrons. Where: Central York High School 601 Mundis Mill Road York, PA 17406 Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the safety of the facility patrons by preventing and responding to any and all emergencies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Enforce all facility policies, rules, and regulations. Recognize and responds effectively to emergencies. Thirty second scan mandatory. Inspect the facility on a daily schedule and reports unsafe conditions and equipment to supervisor. Complete appropriate records and reports. Attend and participates in all in-service training as a requirement of employment. Responsible for work hours. Must obtain a substitute when unable to work. Wear only issued uniform and maintain a professional appearance. Keep all certifications current. Complete 500 yards every 2 weeks Complete additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be at least 15 years of age American Red Cross Lifeguard Training American Red Cross First Aid & CPR for the Professional Rescuer Must have obtained (or will obtain) valid PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks within the last twelve (12) months.
